Senador do PT, Delcídio Amaral acaba de ser preso pela Polícia Federal

O Supremo Tribunal Federal autorizou e a Policia Federal prendeu na manhã desta quarta-feira (25) o senador do PT, pelo Mato Grosso, Delcídio Amaral. Ele é acusado de tentar atrapalhar as investigações da Operação Lava-Jato.

Essa é a primeira vez que um senador da República é preso no Brasil.

Segundo a coluna Radar, da Veja, Delcídio foi flagrado em escuta telefônica pela Polícia Federal tentando articular a fuga do ex-diretor da Petrobrás, Nestor Cerveró.

O Palácio do Planalto ainda não se manifestou sobre a prisão do senador, que é o líder do Governo Dilma no Senado.
