Ricardo Salles, ministro do Meio Ambiente, pede demissão

ex-secretário da Amazônia e Serviços Ambientais, assume a pasta

BRASÍLIA, DF (FOLHAPRESS) – O ministro do Meio Ambiente, Ricardo Salles, pediu demissão nesta quarta-feira (23) ao presidente Jair Bolsonaro.

Salles é alvo de inquérito no STF (Supremo Tribunal Federal) por operação da Polícia Federal que mira suposto favorecimento a empresários do setor de madeiras por meio da modificação de regras com o objetivo de regularizar cargas apreendidas no exterior.

Foi nomeado como novo ministro Joaquim Pereira Leite, secretário da Amazônia e Serviços Ambientais. As mudanças foram publicadas no Diário Oficial da União nesta tarde.
